Hi and welcome to episode 239 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.
Financial announcements were front and center this week with results being released by software giants Sage and Workday.
First, Workday announced results for the fiscal quarter ended April 30, 2026. Total revenues were $2.54 billion, an increase of 13.5% from the first quarter of fiscal 2026. Subscription revenues were $2.35 billion, an increase of 14.3% from the same period last year.
Then, Sage announced financial results for the six months to March 31, 2026. Annual recurring revenue was 2.7 billion, and increase of 11% year-over-year, with Sage Business Cloud revenue increasing 15% year-over-year to about 1.2 billion pounds. This includes cloud native revenue growth of 25% to 518 million pounds.
Both demonstrate strong momentum in the software space and investments continue to be made in AI and other advancements in enterprise applications.
In other news, Procore announced an expanded Procore AI experience, introducing a new suite of AI agents powered by embedded Datagrid Intelligence and built directly into Procore. This new experience gives customers access to agentic AI capable of executing work, coordinating workflows, and taking action across projects in real time. Procore’s agentic AI combines Datagrid’s intelligence layer with two new foundational capabilities: Actions which enable agents to execute live steps inside Procore and connected systems, and Triggers, enabling agents to automatically respond to events in Procore based on project context and customer-defined rules. Procore is deepening its investments in AI agents to deliver an automated, streamlined experience to customers.
Finally, ECI announced the launch of AI Assist for Davisware GlobalEdge all-in-one field service management system. Embedded directly within GlobalEdge technician mobile application, AI Assist provides technicians with structured, contextual diagnostic guidance at the point of service. With a single tap, technicians can generate AI-guided troubleshooting recommendations using existing work order details and equipment data including make and model serial number. This release enhances connectivity, enabling technicians in the field to get the most from their core software solutions.
