Hi and welcome to episode 193 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

The week began with IFS’s acquisition of TheLoops, a cutting-edge innovator in autonomous AI agent technology. By applying TheLoops agentic capabilities in the industrial setting, IFS becomes the first vendor to offer an AI Agentic platform built specifically for the mission-critical assets and processes industries rely on. Combining TheLoops AI agent platform with the IFS industry knowledge creates agents that understand the semantics of an industry and business, participate in real enterprise workflows side-by-side with humans, adhere to customer-defined security, data access, and compliance standards, and collaborate with specialized agents across integrated domains. AI will be the accelerator for future advancement, making steps like this from IFS all the more vital in setting the foundation for what’s to come.

In other news, Deltek announced new AI-driven capabilities within GovWin IQ that represent the beginning of a bold, multi-phase initiative to redefine how government contractors identify, bid on, and win new opportunities. New capabilities for contractors will deliver earlier insights, AI-generated proposal outlines, and greater confidence in every pursuit. GovWin IQ will help enable teams to stay aligned, and more quickly qualify and bid on opportunities while removing the need for manual rework. More announcements are on the horizon, but as of today, customers can benefit from two new features available in GovWin IQ: Ask Dela Opportunity Chat and AI-Powered Proposal Outlines. By providing customers with a means to identify opportunities with AI and generate the framework for proposal documents with ease, contractors can effectively pursue opportunities and accelerate the lead time to transform opportunities into real value.

Finally, to end the week on a high note, Acumatica announced Amelie Phung and Caitlyn Chin have been awarded Acumatica-LPGA Foundation Scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year. These scholarships are part of a program launched in 2024 to empower young women who excel in golf, academics, leadership, and community service. The program focuses on increasing female representation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). By supporting their education and elevating their accomplishments, Acumatica and the LPGA aim to nurture future female leaders and expand opportunities for women traditionally underrepresented in these fields. Initiatives like this from major ERP vendors make the world a better place while also building the foundation for the future of ERP.
