Hi and welcome to episode 95 of The ERP Minute. I am your host, Rebekah McCabe.

All ERP vendors are looking for ways to innovate and provide deeper functionality to previously underserved markets with many looking to benefit the SMB space. Sage has followed this trend, announcing that US customers who are looking to implement Sage Intacct will now have first-time access to the technology on AWS. The expanded availability, reliability, and security delivered by AWS will enable Sage Intacct customers with expanded flexibility to scale at pace, including the ability to modernize their finance function, unlock efficiencies by automating finance processes, and save time by making decisions faster using real-time data and insights. By providing greater resources to SMBs, ERP vendors are opening the ERP space to enable them to reach new heights.

Speaking of ways to encourage growth and a greater sense of community, Infor announced that it has joined the Catena-X initiative. The consortium aims to create a common data ecosystem for the automotive industry that makes material flows along the entire supply chain digitally traceable. The goal of Catena-X is to work in association with renowned manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers in the automotive industry to accelerate the digital transformation of the industry. With supply chain concerns remaining at the forefront of automotive industry leaders’ minds, it is vital for experts to create solutions that will encourage stability and efficiency, even in times of adversity.

Finally, Deltek announced that it has developed the GovWin IQ Small Business Resource Center curated specifically to support the thousands of small businesses looking for ways to find and win more government contracting opportunities with limited resources. GovWin IQ will provide smaller companies with a comprehensive toolkit of everything they need at each stage of the government contracting lifecycle, pulling together government contracting opportunities, learning guides on government agency buying behavior, assistance with identifying potential teaming partners, government contact lists, research and analysis into market conditions, educational resources, and more. Like the other stories this week, advancements like this from Deltek will further empower SMBs to accelerate growth and market share in their respective industries.
