Acumatica recently announced the release of Acumatica 2021 R2, with new features targeted at streamlining processes and increasing efficiency, including a simplified process for reconciliation by matching bank transactions to multiple receipts and disbursements.
At Dreamforce 2021, Salesforce highlighted several new integrations with Slack, including intelligent alerts for order management and AI-powered predictions and recommendations. Salesforce sees itself as a “digital headquarters” as it aims to fully meet the needs of companies, all the way from sales and marketing to analytics and integration.
Procore just closed its largest acquisition ever, purchasing Levelset for $500 million. Levelset’s ability to facilitate lien payments for construction projects will be added to Procore’s platform, allowing for improved management of workflows and enhanced payment processes.
In other news, it appears that many financial services professionals don’t trust predictive analysis, according to a recent survey by Qlik, which concluded that only 50% feel they can rely on the results that are gathered by predictive analytics software.
