Hi and welcome to episode 260 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.
To kick off the week, SAP announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2026. Current cloud backlog was 24.1 billion Euros, up 28%, with total revenue up 13% to 10.27 billion Euros. SAP remains a giant in the ERP space and continues to see monumental growth as they move down market and provide innovative AI solutions.
Then, Blackbaud announced financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2026. GAAP total revenue was $292.6 million, up 4.1%, with GAAP net income at $46.1 million. This demonstrates a turnaround for Blackbaud, which saw growth across the third quarter, driven by its emerging AI solutions and partnership with BILL.
In other news, Salesforce announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cresta, the voice-first operating system for customer experience. Cresta’s voice agents resolve complex customer calls end to end. Its platform guides human representatives in real time and analyzes every interaction, bringing people and voice agents together in one platform. This is a great example of the next evolution of technology, where solutions will be driven by conversational interactions.
Finally, NetSuite took center stage in Las Vegas, Nevada, for its annual SuiteWorld conference, with the promise that ERP as we know it has changed forever. With announcements like SuiteExpress and SuiteSkills, customers can expect a lot from the vendor in the coming months and beyond.
