Hi and welcome to episode 217 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.
To begin the week, Oracle announced fiscal 2026 Q2 results. Total Remaining Performance Obligations were up 438% year-over-year of $523 billion. Total quarterly revenues were up 14% to $16.1 billion, with Cloud Revenues up 34% to $8 billion. Oracle maintained a health flow of business in the second quarter, demonstrating strong results for a growing software market.
In other news, Rootstock Software announced the launch of Rootstock Managed Services. The new offering provides customers with turnkey administration, which ensures smooth operation with their Rootstock ERP environment and ongoing alignment as their business continues to grow and evolve. Rootstock Managed Services was created to support manufacturers and distributors that prefer to keep internal staff focused on their business rather than technology. With this new service tier, customers can offload routine ERP management tasks – such as system administration, configuration updates, applying best practices, and upgrade management – to a dedicated group of Rootstock experts. The result will be a high-performing ERP environment that adapts quickly to business changes and supports efficient, resilient operations. Customers utilizing Rootstock can benefit from an improved experience and ongoing maintenance of their solutions with expert oversight.
Related, Certinia announced their Winter ’26 Release, reinforcing their commitment to continuous innovation and delivering the enterprise-grade Professional Services Automation (PSA) and Customer Success solutions companies need to run their most complex services businesses with certainty. Overarching releases include greater efficiency and insights with intelligent automation and AI, enhanced visibility and control for strategy decision-making, and optimized operations, all within a slew of new functionality releases. Certinia customers will continue to leverage the “certainty” of Certinia’s growing functionality.
Finally, UKG has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Inova Payroll, a U.S.-based human capital management (HCM) and payroll services provider for small and mid-sized businesses. The acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions, will enable UKG to directly provide the SMB market segment with innovative outsourced HR support and full benefits brokerage services. UKG is expanding its value chain to deliver even more to the customers relying on the platform every day.
