Hi and welcome to episode 215 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

To begin the week, Workday announced results for the fiscal 2026 third quarter ended October 31st, 2025. Total revenues were $2.43 billion, an increase of 12.6% from the third quarter of fiscal 2025. Subscription revenues were $2.24 billion, an increase of 14.6% from the same period last year. Operating income was $259 million, or 10.7% of revenues, compared to an operating income of $165 million, or 7.6% of revenues. Workday continues to experience significant growth as the vendor expands its product offerings and extends into new markets, we expect to see this trend continue well into 2026 and beyond.

In other news, IFS announced the release of IFS Cloud 25R2, applying the latest in AI innovation to the realities of hardcore, industrial work. The release introduces powerful new agentic AI capabilities, including IFS Loops Digital Workers that think, decide, and act across systems, operating as integral members of the industrial workforce. The first five Digital Workers available are Customer Order Manager, Supplier Order Manager, Inventory Replenisher, Operations Analyst, and Material Replenisher. IFS aims to solve real issues companies face with AI agents to automate processes and improve decision-making.

Finally, SAP today unveiled the next stage of its vision for European digital sovereignty with the launch of EU AI Cloud. SAP now unites all existing milestones under a single strategic framework: a sovereign AI and cloud offering designed for Europe. SAP now offers a truly full-stack sovereign cloud offering, empowering customers to select the right level of sovereignty and deployment for their needs, whether in SAP’s own data centers, on trusted European infrastructure, or as a fully managed solution on-site. Software giants continue to develop international strategies to meet more localized needs, evident in this move by SAP. European customers can now benefit from a more specialized approach to their needs.
