Hi and welcome to Episode 21 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host Erica Windle.

Sage announced that it agreed to acquire Brightpearl, a multichannel retail management system for retailers and wholesalers. We see this as a very strategic acquisition for Sage because, leveraging Brightpearl with Sage Intacct raises Intacct’s competitive position for product-based companies.

In other acquisition news, Oracle announced last week that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Verenia’s NetSuite CPQ business. Adding CPQ functionality to NetSuite’s ERP stack will help elevate its overall CRM capabilities which few competitors have out of the box.

OneStream, a leader in corporate performance management solutions, announced it has achieved over $200 million in Annual Recurring Revenue, representing 75 percent year over year growth as of December 31. We’re curious to see how the firm performs in 2022 as macro-economic changes settle in post Covid.

For our final segment, Qlik announced it has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement with the SEC for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. We believe this cash infusion will be beneficial for existing Qlik customers as the Company can invest capital in product enhancements and strengthen its technology platform, which we expect all major vendors to need in 2022 given the significant increase in cybercrimes.
