Hi and welcome to episode 209 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Charlie DeCurtis.
To begin the week, Oracle unveiled new AI-powered capabilities for Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence that help customers quickly and easily gain the most value from their enterprise data. These latest updates include the availability of the Oracle Analytics Cloud AI Assistant as well as powerful new analytical content and features planned across Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, including Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning, Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), and Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience (CX). T.K. Anand, Executive Vice President at Oracle added, “The new Oracle Analytics AI Assistant allows users to engage in a dialog with their data and a system that understands their specific business context across all Fusion Data Intelligence applications.” These updates are expanding the way businesses can interact with their systems and achieve value.
In more AI-related news, Microsoft unveiled AI innovations, leveraging ambient and generative technologies, to improve the patient journey, reduce the workflow burden across care teams and enhance the financial integrity of healthcare provider organizations. Microsoft is expanding the capabilities of its leading AI clinical assistant, Dragon Copilot, by introducing the first commercially available ambient experience created for nursing workflows and new extensibility capabilities that allow partners to unlock additional value for Dragon Copilot users. These advancements will enable secure integration of partner AI apps and agents directly into Dragon Copilot, allowing clinicians to gain efficiencies without leaving their workflow, and empower nurses with tailored AI capabilities. Microsoft aims to ease the day-to-day of frontline workers, empowering them with industry leading tools.
Continuing with the AI news, at Groundbreak 2025, Procore Technologies, Inc. unveiled new AI capabilities built directly into its intelligence layer, Procore Helix. With these latest AI innovations, Procore customers will be able to simplify the automation of complex workflows, gain critical project insights, and optimize project outcomes across every phase of construction. Procore Assist serves as a conversational AI assistant that provides contextually relevant answers on-demand with robust features including photo intelligence, multilingual support, and mobile support. Customers are continuing to achieve more in the systems they already use with AI at the center.
In other news, Acumatica announced a strategic partnership to embed BILL’s industry-leading Accounts Payable (AP) automation directly into Acumatica Cloud ERP. Accounts Payable Automation, powered by BILL, gives U.S. Acumatica customers a one-stop solution to manage and pay bills quickly and easily without leaving their ERP. This enhances how Acumatica customers use their solutions, providing a more seamless way to conduct AP.
Finally, Sage announced Sage 50 is available on the cloud. This new deployment option gives customers flexible, secure access to their financial data, and prepares SMBs for future innovation. Cloud deployment lays the foundation for Sage Copilot, the company’s AI-powered assistant that helps reduce admin work, speed up decision-making, and improve confidence in financial reporting. For Sage 50 users, Copilot will integrate directly into familiar workflows—like managing invoices or preparing reports—making everyday tasks faster and easier. These enhancements will improve access and efficiency and prepare for the future with agentic AI. This is major news for Sage 50 customers who want to achieve more with their current solution but felt they may not have had access to new innovations. Now customers will be able to take advantage of Sage Copilot and more.
