Hi and welcome to episode 208 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

SuiteWorld 2025 was at the top of the headlines this week with a number of major announcements being made around AI and how it will improve the way business is conducted, generically and at deeper, industry levels. For a deeper review of SuiteWorld 2025, be on the lookout for ERP Advisors Group’s agonistic evaluation at erpadvisorsgroup.com or following the link in the show notes.

In industry-related news, Infor announced it is launching an expansion of its suite of AI-driven solutions for micro-verticals, optimizing how technology can address the unique challenges and demands across industries, from dairy producers to EV manufacturers, to textile fabricators, and more. Built natively on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with Amazon Bedrock to provide flexible access to high-performing Large Language Models (LLMs), the new Infor Industry AI Agents, along with Infor Leap – a fast and cost-effective cloud migration offer – allow companies to quickly realize the benefits of the technologies they are investing in. Industry-specific, role-based agents are built for manufacturing, distribution, and service industries, offering optimized processes with micro-vertical expertise and action with precision to support every role. Using Infor Agentic Orchestrator, customers will be able to do more with the systems they already using, connecting operations and AI agents across their entire technology stack.

In other news, Sage announced the acquisition of Criterion, a unified human capital management (HCM) platform. The move expands Sage’s AI-powered product ecosystem, unlocking new capabilities for finance and HR teams looking to automate, simplify, and scale all on a platform built for the way work is changing. Criterion already integrates with Sage Intacct and Sage 300 CRE, and this acquisition lays the groundwork to deliver modern, out-of-the-box, cloud native HR and payroll solutions to SMBs, as well. Once again, Sage is making moves to empower customers with great capabilities in HR, especially as AI takes on a stronger role in productivity.

Related, Aptean announced the acquisition of JMA A/S, a provider of dealer management system solutions for the heavy equipment, agricultural, and construction machinery vertical in the Nordic market, headquartered in Randers, Denmark. Aptean is continuing to expand its global presence, ensuring companies can achieve mission-critical value with their ERP system regardless of location.

Then, IFS Copperleaf, an IFS company and AI-powered Asset Investment Planning (AIP) software provider, announced the launch of IFS Copperleaf Integrated Planning (IP), a purpose-built solution for electrical utilities that unifies capital allocation, network optimization, and work bundling across generation, transmission, and distribution. IP extends the platform to meet increasing regulatory requirements, as electrification, renewable integration, and DER growth radically increase planning complexity through enterprise-wide strategic alignment, intelligent work bundling and network optimization, continuous scenario-driven planning, and a seamless data ecosystem. This release enables greater business agility, providing better predictive insights and proactive capabilities to remain productive and compliant.

Finally, Planful announced the general availability of Planful AI Analyst Assistant, an agentic AI assistant purpose-built for finance. Analyst Assistant, now available to all customers, will help remove the burden of manual analysis and empower finance teams to focus on strategic decision-making. Key benefits include variance insights, conversational analysis, and finance-grade security. Planful customers will now be able to naturally interact with Analyst Assistant to pull the data they need instantly, saving time and boosting productivity.
