Hi and welcome to episode 203 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

Starting off the week, Salesforce announced results for its second quarter fiscal 2026 ended July 31, 2025. Second quarter revenue was $10.2 billion, up 10% year-over-year, and second quarter subscription & support revenue was $9.7 billion, up 11% year over year. This strong quarter by Salesforce reflects growth across the software industry throughout 2025 and is an indicator of future growth due to emerging technologies such as agentic AI.

Speaking of AI, Epicor launched the industry’s first ERP AI agent with outcomes-based pricing to accelerate supplier decisions, Epicor Prism Business Communications. The new vertical AI agent built for supply chain businesses addresses these challenges and empowers users to eliminate the delays, errors, and manual effort that slow down RFQ and supplier communication processes. It empowers users to save time by automating handling and quote comparison across multi-supplier, multi-part RFQ scenarios, streamline manual workflows, improve quote accuracy, and accelerate purchasing decisions. Epicor continues to innovate in the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence, and this new release is just another way the vendor is expanding its offerings for the future.

In the world of education, Blackbaud announced a series of transformative updates for its K–12 Education Management portfolio. With a focus on teacher efficiency, parent engagement, and student success, Blackbaud's latest enhancements to its Learning Management System (LMS) and Student Information System (SIS) are designed to streamline workflows, deepen integrations and elevate the digital classroom experience. Blackbaud offers a fully connected, all-in-one platform that integrates learning, student information, and family engagement, with a focus on innovation, interoperability, and user experience. Blackbaud continues to build their presence in the education industry by enhancing their support for educational institutions with this release.

To end the week, QAD and Esker, a global authority in AI-powered business solutions for the Office of the CFO, announced a global strategic alliance to deliver a comprehensive suite of financial process optimization solutions, aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of their customers. The alliance will allow QAD to market Esker Accounts Payable, as well as other Esker solutions to its global customer base. This announcement showcases QAD’s continued push for more complex accounting offerings, further delivering in the world of ERP.
