Hi and welcome to episode 202 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Charlie DeCurtis.
To begin the week, Procore and Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a strategic collaboration agreement to accelerate AI and improve project outcomes in construction. Together, the combined power of Procore and AWS will accelerate Procore’s product development in AI, data operability, and analytics, which will help their customers build more efficiently, reduce risk, and make data-driven decisions. Customers in North America and Europe can purchase Procore’s construction management platform on AWS Marketplace, and the collaboration will expand cross-team engineering initiatives between Procore’s Product & Technology teams and AWS. Partnerships like this one help to expand software vendors’ capabilities and increase accessibility, providing better functionality for customers in the A/E/C space.
In related news, IFS today announced the launch of its new Global Purple Circle Partner Program, designed to enhance collaboration across its partner ecosystem, accelerate delivery excellence, and drive customer value at scale. The Purple Circle Partner Program introduces a more structured and transparent framework that recognizes the diverse contributions of partners across industries and strengthens their ability to deliver measurable outcomes for customers. The program reinforces IFS’s commitment to Industrial AI, equipping partners to deliver targeted solutions across key sectors. The continued effort of IFS to collaborate with others on topics like AI showcases the vendor’s dedication to innovating their software offerings and supporting their customers’ unique needs.
Next, SAP announced a comprehensive new approach to digital sovereignty and AI innovation. Expanded offerings within the SAP Sovereign Cloud portfolio give European customers access to a comprehensive technology stack. With the expansion of SAP Sovereign Cloud, customers can choose from new deployment models that offer control across infrastructure, platform, and software tailored to their specific regulatory and operational needs, including SAP Cloud Infrastructure (in Europe), SAP Sovereign Cloud On-Site, and Delos Cloud. This large investment shows SAP’s commitment to their European customer base and supporting their ability to have full infrastructure control.
Finally, Epicor announced key features and updates in its latest release of Epicor Propello, the company’s cloud-based retail management solution for modern retailers. The new capabilities strengthen scalability through a variety of integrations, with widely used eCommerce, financials, Business Intelligence (BI), workforce management, and automation platforms, as well as enable custom connections via published APIs. This enables retailers to navigate and grow without compromising control or flexibility in today’s dynamic marketplace. Epicor continues to advance their offerings through different industries, and follows the major vendor trend in 2025 of supporting more industry specific functionality needs.
