Hi and welcome to episode 199 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.
Oracle and NetSuite began the week with major AI announcements.
First, Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle Globally Distributed Exadata Database on Exascale Infrastructure, designed to simplify the deployment of distributed mission-critical applications across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) regions worldwide. This new service automatically distributes, stores, and synchronizes data across multiple locations, enabling applications to remain online even during regional outages and helping businesses meet data residency requirements. Customers will benefit from Oracle’s “always-on architecture” and access to a vast dataset in order to receive real-time insights and truly take advantage of AI.
Then, NetSuite introduced the new NetSuite AI Connector Service, a protocol-driven integration service supporting Model Context Protocol (MCP), an emerging critical standard for structured communication between large language models (LLM)-powered agents and other systems. It will give customers a secure, flexible, and scalable way to connect their own AI to NetSuite by enabling developers to define exactly what their AI system can see and do, with full permissions and role-based access, supporting multiple assistants and agent platforms in a standards-based way, allowing for a “bring your own AI” model, turning complex AI-ERP integrations into modular, reusable SuiteApps, streamlining deployment and lifecycle management, aligning AI integrations with NetSuite’s existing extensibility model, eliminating the need for risky workarounds or shadow IT, and allowing partners and ISVs to build, package, and monetize AI-driven SuiteApps, creating a new category of intelligent ERP extensions. This release opens to door to endless possibilities for NetSuite customers who want greater connectivity and ability to benefit from AI.
In other news, Sage announced an expanded partnership with Artis Trade Systems to provide U.S. secured lenders with a new solution that delivers instant insights into customer financial health, helping reduce credit risk and speed up lending decisions. The integration also brings essential accounting capabilities directly into the Artis Trade platform, including real-time bank feeds that automatically import transaction data from connected business accounts, AI-powered transaction categorization that intelligently sorts and codes financial transactions, and on-demand income statements. Sage and Artis Trade Systems are streamlining the lending process to create a more seamless experience to customers while improving all around financial health.
Finally, OneStream announced financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2025. Total Revenue was $147.6 million, an increase of 26% year-over-year, with Subscription Revenue up 30% year-over-year to $133.6 million. The strong results come on the coattails of major announcements throughout the year, including Advanced SensibleAI Solutions and enhanced platform and productivity tools. We expect to see even more from OneStream as we march through the second half of 2025.
