Hi and welcome to episode 185 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Charlie DeCurtis.
IFS and Blackbaud began the week with major financial results.
First, IFS announced strong growth for the first quarter of 2025, ending March 31, 2025. Bolstered by increasing customer adoption and the transformative impact of IFS.ai, IFS’s market value now exceeds 15 billion euros. Annual recurring revenue increased by 30% year-over-year, while Cloud Revenue increased by 39% year-over-year.
Then, Blackbaud announced financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2025. GAAP total revenue was $270.7 million, down 3.1%, driven by the divestiture of EVERFI, and non-GAAP organic revenue increased 5.8%. GAAP recuring revenue was $264.1 million, down 2.8%, also driven by the divestiture of EVERFI, and represented 97.6% of total revenue.
The market is ever expanding, and that is further supported by these results from IFS and Blackbaud.
In other news, Unit4 launched Advanced Virtual Agent (Ava), a productive conversational agent that will act as a centralized artificial intelligence interface, orchestrating and automating ERP workflows. Designed as an intelligent work companion seamlessly integrated with Unit4 ERPx and Microsoft Teams, Ava enables effortless collaboration and provides personalized recommendations as well as instant, contextual assistance. AI is going to become vital to future business growth and remaining relevant in an increasingly competitive landscape. Ava is going to accelerate growth for Unit4 customers and help customers do even more.
Then, Planful announced Workforce Pro, a powerful enhancement to its trusted Planful for Workforce solution. Workforce Pro delivers deeper granularity, greater flexibility, and built-in automation, and empowers organizations to optimize workforce investments and drive stronger aligment between Finance, HR, and the business for faster, smarter decision-making. Workforce Pro takes the capabilities already trusted in Workforce Planning to the next level, delivering transformational advancements in insight, flexibility, and control. This is a big step for Planful to deliver even more in the solution.
Finally, Qlik announced the acquisition of the Qloud Cover Migration technology from Stretch Qonnect, a long-standing Qlik Elite Solution Provider. This automated solution, to be branded as the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool, eliminates the complexity of migrating from QlikView, Qlik Sense, and NPrinting to Qlik Cloud – a persistent barrier to cloud adoption. Customers can now realize a quicker time to value and mitigate common risks associated with these obstacles.
