Shopify is making a move toward directly supporting more complex integrations with bigger businesses who need an integrated solution between ERP and eCommerce. Shopify is now partnering directly with leading ERP providers globally, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle NetSuite, Infor, and Acumatica.
In similar integration news, IFS unveiled their enhanced connectivity to its applications through an extension of its partnership with Boomi, which now supports all customers, not just IFS cloud customers.
ECI has made its second acquisition in two months. The company just acquired Merchant Systems Group Limited after acquiring Deacom in September which increased ECI’s presence in the process manufacturing industry. Merchant Systems is known for its eCo mmonSense platform which will add to ECI industry solutions for lumber and building materials, hardware, and home supply dealers.
Closing us out for today, SAP stated that their preliminary revenue for the third quarter was $7.93 billion, a 5% increase over last year’s third quarter. SAP will announce final third quarter 2021 earnings this Thursday, October 21st.
