Salesforce and Workday both announced financial results for the second quarter of the year.

First, Salesforce announced results for its second quarter fiscal 2027 ended July 31st, 2026. Subscription and support revenue was $10.8 billion, up 12% year-over-year. Revenue was $11.3 billion, up 11% year-over-year, including a $456 million Informatica contribution.

Then, Workday announced results for the fiscal 2027 second quarter ended July 31, 2026. Total revenues were about $2.65 billion, an increase of 12.8% from the second quarter of fiscal 2026. Subscription revenues were about $2.5 billion, an increase of 13.9% from the same period last year.

Both results reflect the ongoing growth in the software market, as more companies take advantage of emerging technologies and choose to modernize their organizations.

In other news, Sage announced the latest update to Sage Intacct, introducing new AI-powered financial controls, connected reporting capabilities, and industry-specific innovations that help finance teams work more efficiently while maintaining greater confidence and control. In the Sage Intacct August 2026 release, customers can expect anomaly detection for AP automation, Sage Intacct lending management, enhanced billing groups in order entry, construction billing and retainage enhancements, and much more. Sage continues to deliver innovative solutions to their customers who can capitalize on AI advancements.

Finally, UKG announced its latest Quarterly Platform Innovation release, introducing new AI capabilities to help HR leaders turn workforce intelligence into action across the frontline. Within the release, customers can expect UKG Bryte Voice, a voice-enabled AI designed for the frontline industry, Agentic Pay, with natural language payroll investigation and human validation, and AI-assisted high-volume recruiting, for AI job recommendations and bulk apply. UKG is improving upon their customer experience in order better understand their organizations and workforces, ultimately more effectively anticipating change.
