Hi and welcome to episode 252 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

Rootstock announced its Summer ’26 Release. Building on previous AI development, two new Rootstock AI agents enter active pilot with select customers. These agents are designed to help streamline delivery promises, lot traceability, and purchasing operations in real time. The release also introduces AccessGuard, Rootstock’s enterprise security solution designed for midmarket manufacturers and distributors, advancing Rootstock Financials with significant new capabilities for organizations operating in complex, global environments, and delivers a customer-driven enhancement from the Rootstock Idea Factory. In addition to AccessGuard, the release will include RootForms Word Export and major advancements to Rootstock Financials featuring a reimagined Bank Statement Workbench and reconciliation experience. Customer will receive significant value from this release, and will feel heard as Rootstock applies their requests to deliver practical solutions.

Sage announced it has acquired Bangert, a long-standing Sage partner and specialist in AI-enabled implementation and onboarding for construction financial management. The acquisition brings Bangert’s deep construction expertise, industry-proven implementation methodology, and scalable onboarding technology into Sage. Ultimately, this release will bring Bangert’s value to customers at a greater scale by making it available directly through Sage.

Finally, ECI launched the integration of EvolutionX, its AI-powered ecommerce platform, with GlobalEdge, its ERP system for commercial field service organizations. This integration extends ecommerce compatibility and capability directly to GlobalEdge customers, giving field service organizations a fast path to a new leads: an online storefront for spare parts, aftermarket parts, and consumables, backed by real-time data from their existing ERP. With this release, ECI has demonstrated their commitment to deliver value to their field service customers.
