Introducing: The ERP Minute, providing a compact overview of enterprise software news for the past week. In this inaugural episode, we cover the split between Amazon and Workday HCM, Adobe and Walmart teaming up, and SAP's deployment on Google Cloud.

Hello and welcome to the first episode of The ERP Minute, I'm your host Ashley Glasgow. Let's jump into what's happening in the world of enterprise software this week.

Amazon and Workday decided to call it quits on implementing Workday HCM. Though the decision was made some 18 months ago, the news came to light just last week. While Amazon will maintain a relationship with Workday for other implementations they are working on together, Amazon will continue to rely on their Oracle PeopleSoft legacy system for HCM, which we discussed in detail on episode 56 of The ERP Advisor podcast.

Adobe and Walmart have teamed up in an eCommerce play that looks to be targeted at competing with Amazon. Through enrollment into Walmart's rapidly growing Marketplace, Adobe Commerce and Magento Open-Source retail customers will be able to take advantage of Walmart's cloud-based fulfillment services and nationwide 2-day delivery.

SAP can now be deployed on Google Cloud, thanks to an expanded partnership between the two companies. This move makes SAP more accessible for clients who no longer need to worry about backend IT infrastructure now that Google is taking care of it.

Thanks for tuning into The ERP Minute, we'll see you next week!
