Starting the week strong, Workday launched the Workday EU Sovereign Cloud, a new offering that gives organizations across the European Union (EU) the ability to use Workday’s AI-powered HR and finance solutions while keeping their data secure, local, and under their control. As new European regulations emerge, such as the EU Data Act, and geopolitical uncertainty continues, businesses and public sector organizations are putting data sovereignty at the heart of their digital transformation strategies. The release will accelerate AI adoption in a complex environment, while enabling organizations to operate continuously and protect their data. This further supports the specialized approach many vendors are taking to meet the needs of specific industries or locations. With the growing importance of AI, Workday’s expansion into the EU will enable customers to benefit from technology without compromising on data security or compliance. In other news, Sage announced its full year financial results for the period ended September 30th, 2025. Underlying total revenue increased by 10% year-over-year to approximately 2.5 billion pounds, reflecting a high-quality subscription-based recurring revenue model. Underlying operating profit also grew by 17% year-over-year to 600 million pounds, driving a strong margin increase of 150 basis points to 23.9% with disciplined cost management supporting ongoing investment. Sage continues to experience significant growth, and it is pouring that revenue back into technology investments. Then, at Microsoft Ignite 2025, OneStream announced it has entered into a strategic alliance with Microsoft, underscoring a shared commitment to accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across enterprise finance teams. The integration brings together OneStream’s financially intelligent SensibleAI Agent technology with Microsoft 365 and Azure to deliver value for finance leaders. As part of the alliance, OneStream will release a series of its SensibleAI Agents directly into the most widely used Microsoft products such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Excel and Microsoft 365 Copilot, enabling finance professionals to analyze data in real-time, run forecasts, generate reports, and automate tasks all within the tools they use every day. Partnerships will accelerate AI adoption and innovation by allowing vendors to leverage and enhance technology already in place, while customers benefit from improvements to the solutions they already using every day. Finally, Aptean announced the launch of AppCentral 2.0, the AI platform purpose-built for industries. AppCentral 2.0 combines deep Vertical AI with an extensive range of industry-specific applications – from ERP to supply chain solutions such as asset management, transportation management, warehouse management, and more – to transform how work gets done. Updates include Instant Answers, Intelligent Workflows, Role-Based AI Workspaces, and Predictive Insights.
