The “next” era of Oracle NetSuite is here, and EAG had a front-row seat to the action at SuiteWorld 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. NetSuite's latest releases move the suite from “AI that answers questions” to “AI that understands how a business runs and helps get the work done.” The new capabilities span NetSuite Next experiences, prebuilt business skills, industry-specific agents, tools to build and govern agents, expanded connectors in Ask Oracle, and an AI-powered approach to implementation.
Three ideas run through every announcement. First, AI should carry real business expertise, not just general reasoning. Second, it should work across the systems a company already uses, on the company's own terms. Third, it should operate inside the roles, permissions, and approvals that keep finance and operations under control.
Here is what's new, and what each release means for NetSuite customers.
SuiteSkills for Out-of-the-Box Value
More than 45 new SuiteSkills were announced at SuiteWorld to give AI the business knowledge it needs to more quickly apply value to finance and operations. Each skill combines connected financial and operational data, process knowledge, and industry expertise with advanced AI reasoning, so it can investigate a problem, recommend a solution, and take action (if permitted).
SuiteSkills cover six core business functions:
- Financial analysis and close
- Billing and cash flow
- Inventory and fulfillment
- Projects and service delivery
- Sales and customer service
- Workforce management
Two details matter most for customers. SuiteSkills arrive with established roles and permissions out of the box, so they respect the same access rules as those using them. And the open platform enables customers to utilize these capabilities in Ask Oracle within NetSuite Next, or apply them through their preferred connected AI models and services. That flexibility lets each business adopt AI on its own terms rather than being locked into a single interface.
New ways to work in NetSuite Next
NetSuite Next adds three experiences that put AI directly into everyday work: AI portlets, AI workspaces, and the SuiteFlow Agent.
AI portlets turn a plain-language request into dashboard analysis. Ask a question and the portlet generates the analysis, the charts, and available actions. Teams get faster analysis and better visibility without building reports by hand, which leads to more informed decisions.
AI workspaces bring people, AI agents, information, and approvals into one place. Instead of chasing a task across email, spreadsheets, and records, everyone involved can see the work, the supporting data, and what is waiting for sign-off.
SuiteFlow Agent helps administrators and power users build workflows by describing them in Ask Oracle. A user can ask for a workflow that requires purchase order numbers, makes certain fields read-only, or displays a message when a business condition is met. The agent proposes the configuration, and the user reviews and confirms it before anything is created. The result is less manual setup and less dependence on technical specialists for routine workflow changes.
Industry SuiteAgents: expertise built for each sector
New SuiteAgents apply industry knowledge to the processes that matter most in each sector, helping teams reduce financial risk and improve operational performance. Because they are built on NetSuite's unified data model, they work from the same connected financial and operational records the business already relies on.

For customers, the value is speed to insight in the areas where their industry carries the most risk. A construction firm gets help with retainage and payment applications; a software company gets help protecting recurring revenue. The agent brings the industry best practices, and the team makes the call.
Build & Deploy Your Own SuiteAgents
Beyond prebuilt agents, NetSuite now allows customers to create their own specialized solutions and manage every agent from one place.
SuiteAgent Studio is where users can design agents before going live. Customers can use the system to define and refine instructions, the tools it can use, what triggers it, and the role it executes under. Once activated, an agent can run on a schedule or in response to business events, always within its configured permissions and approval requirements. That means a company can automate the recurring work unique to its operation without writing custom code.
SuiteAgent Management Workspace addresses the question every finance leader asks about AI: who is accountable for what it does? The workspace centrally manages agent access and execution permissions, monitors activity, and lets administrators activate or deactivate agents. Alerts surface execution issues as they happen, and System Notes record changes to records, so every action an agent takes is traceable.
Together, these tools let organizations delegate more work to AI while keeping the same oversight they expect from their people.
Connectivity with Ask Oracle
New Ask Oracle connectors extend AI beyond NetSuite to the other business applications a company runs and to the internet. With new Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities, users can search the web, compare information across supported business systems, review supporting records and documents, and direct permitted follow-up actions in connected applications.
The practical benefit is faster resolution. When an issue spans NetSuite, a CRM, and a supplier's website, users no longer need to piece the story together across tabs. Ask Oracle gathers the context, and the user decides what happens next, within the permissions already in place.
NetSuite Data Intelligence
NetSuite Analytics Warehouse is now NetSuite Data Intelligence, and it does more than store data for reporting. It helps organizations identify opportunities, understand performance, and make better decisions with their financial and operational data.
Two AI additions drive this. NetSuite Data Intelligence Agents in Ask Oracle expand conversational analysis, so users can explore their data by asking questions. The Deep Insights Agent goes a step further, delivering business-specific insights and recommendations rather than leaving users to find the signal on their own.
SuiteExpress: Implementation in Weeks (or Even Days)
SuiteExpress is a new agentic implementation toolset and methodology that changes how customers deploy, adopt, and expand NetSuite. According to NetSuite, SuiteExpress, “puts AI to work across the customer journey to align the suite's capabilities with customer needs. This helps organizations implement more of what they need upfront and realize greater value from day one” (netsuite.com). By cutting implementation time to weeks or even days, it frees customers to spend less time managing systems and more time driving results.
SuiteExpress is powered by two connected knowledge bases:
- Customer Knowledge Base ingests meeting notes, documents, spreadsheets, recordings, and data from other systems to capture requirements, business processes, configuration decisions, and validation history.
- NetSuite Knowledge Base applies the proprietary product, implementation, and industry expertise NetSuite has built over 28 years serving more than 44,000 customers.
Together, AI can evaluate work for next steps and streamline implementation, while implementation partners and consultants drive the project.
What SuiteExpress helps customers do:
- Accelerate time to value by capturing and organizing requirements, identifying gaps, and aligning NetSuite capabilities with business needs.
- Simplify data migration by using AI to prepare and validate data from existing systems.
- Map solutions to business needs by connecting requirements to relevant capabilities, industry practices, and proven configuration patterns.
- Validate workflows by using AI to create and run tests against each customer's unique requirements before deployment.
- Create guided learning with contextual help based on the customer's own configuration, speeding adoption.
- Drive continuous improvement by using the context gathered during implementation to find ways NetSuite can work better after go-live.
- Support expansion when adding a subsidiary, entering a new market, or adopting a new capability, building on existing context instead of repeating discovery from scratch (netsuite.com).
SuiteExpress is currently available only to software-industry customers in the United States and Canada.
What it all means for NetSuite customers
Taken together, these releases bring NetSuite closer to an autonomous suite: AI that understands how a business operates and helps get work done. For customers, the value shows up in four ways:
- Faster decisions. AI portlets, Data Intelligence, and the Deep Insights Agent turn questions into analysis and recommendations in minutes.
- Less manual work. SuiteSkills, SuiteFlow Agent, and custom agents built in SuiteAgent Studio take on investigation, configuration, and recurring tasks.
- Control and accountability. Roles, permissions, approvals, alerts, and System Notes keep every agent action governed and traceable.
- Value sooner and longer. SuiteExpress shortens implementation and keeps improving how customers use NetSuite after go-live.
Just as important, the platform is open. Customers can use SuiteSkills with their preferred AI models and connect Ask Oracle to the systems they already run, adopting AI at their own pace and on their own terms.
