Hi and welcome to episode 6 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host Ashley Glasgow.

In acquisition news, UKG purchased the Great Place to Work Institute indicating a transition from software as a service to service as a service. We look forward to seeing how UKG utilizes their newly acquired access to GPWI’s extensive survey collection.

ECI Software Solutions recently completed the acquisition of Deacom, an ERP software provider for batch and process manufacturers with offerings for warehouse management, quality control, eCommerce, and direct delivery. ECI is confident that its acquisition of Deacom will result in a wider customer base that includes discrete and made-to-order manufacturers.

In episode 3 of The ERP Minute, we reported international expansion from Alithya and Unit4. It seems that Onestream and Acumatica are following this trend by setting their sights on expansion into the Asia-Pacific region. Onestream saw a 100% year-over-year growth in annual recurring revenue as of late June, and the company is eager to invest in new geographies, while Acumatica already has 50 regional team members and nearly a dozen active resellers in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Maldives.

More reports of growth come from Workday and Intuit. Despite some analyst predictions of slow growth in HCM and ERP, Workday’s second quarter results revealed a sales increase of 18.7%. And Intuit is no doubt pleased that Quickbooks reported a 12.9% increase in year-over-year net income.

That’s all we have time for today. Thanks for tuning into The ERP Minute. We’ll see you next week!
