SAP began the week with the announcement of its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31st, 2025. Total Revenue was up 12% to about 9.01 billion euros, with Cloud & Software Revenue up 14% to about 7.94 billion euros. Additionally, Current Cloud Backlog was 18.2 billion euros, up 28%. Once again, SAP boasts major growth across all facets of business revenue. SAP will likely continue its momentum with investments in S/4HANA and other go forward strategies.
In release news, IFS unveiled new Industrial AI-powered features introduced with IFS.ai into the latest IFS Cloud 25R1 release. The new release incorporates agentic industrial AI capabilities that enable customers in asset and service-intensive industries to rapidly derive value from Industrial AI at scale. New capabilities include IFS.ai Forecasting & Inventory Replenishment, XD Integration and Visualization, Data & Work Generation from Documents, Summarized Supply Chain Events, and Operation Time Prediction, alongside Copilot for Sales Quotation, Shipment Order, and Customer Order. AI is now at the core of all IFS is able to offer, which will transform the way businesses derive value from their ERP.
In other news, Qlik announced the launch of a new AWS cloud region in the Middle East, strengthening its commitment to organizations across the region that require high-performance AI, data integration, and analytics solutions with full data sovereignty. This cloud region directly addresses these needs by ensuring data sovereignty, reducing latency to improve performance, and enabling AI at scale. All software vendors have their sights set on global expansion, with Qlik following the trend into new markets.
Finally, UKG launched the AI Hub on the UKG Marketplace to provide customers with a curated list of emerging and established AI technology partners that can help create great workplace experiences. The AI Hub expands UKG’s highly collaborative partner ecosystem to provide customers with access to tested AI solutions to accelerate workplace transformation. Current technologies and services across the broader HCM ecosystem offered by partners in the AI Hub include data analysis & management, sales enablement, talent acquisition, talent management, services, and workforce management. Customers will be able to get more from the UKG ecosystem with the launch of AI Hub.
