Hi and welcome to Episode 26 of the ERP Minute. I am your host, Erica Windle.

Yesterday, Oracle announced new logistics management capabilities within Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM. Some of the new capabilities include intelligent transit time predictions, enhanced shipment capabilities, multi-language digital assistant, and advanced transportation and global trade analytics.

Given that supply chain issues will not likely lessen in the near-term, opportunities to automate with solutions like Oracle’s Supply Chain Management, will give companies more information to help them optimize their supply chain decisions in the near term.

In other Oracle news, NetSuite announced that they are launching the NetSuite Accelerator, a program to invest in the creation, growth, and success of businesses built by diverse communities. The program will leverage the experiences learned from their global community to ensure that more entrepreneurs and leaders have greater access to methods that will help to achieve sustainable growth that only comes from having visibility and control in their businesses.

Well done to NetSuite for investing back in the community, especially given the significant resources that they have and can contribute to those in need. We would love to see other prospering software vendors do the same as well.

Congratulations to Blackbaud, a leader in Non-Profit software, for being named to Forbes List of America’s Best Employers for the fifth year.

Given the competitive nature of the software industry for good resources, this ranking will help Blackbaud to continue to attract great people, which is the key for all software vendors to continue to expand.

To conclude the news for today, Salesforce recently opened their Trailblazer Ranch, where employees can go for company training and other activities.

We expect other software vendors and even implementation partners to provide physical experiences for customers and employees as they desire to move out of the virtual zoom world and be physically present together in order to collaborate.
