Hi and welcome to episode 197 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

The week began with the major launch of Rootstock Software’s Summer ’25 Release. This update introduces a new AI-powered ERP Agent, powerful financial enhancements, and the debut of Rootstock’s highly configurable grid designed for fast, flexible data interaction. Along with key operational features, this release gives users greater control, automation, and intelligence across the enterprise. The release highlights enhancements across four key areas: AI-powered ERP Agent with context-aware ERP automation, Financial Enhancements for greater flexibility, automation, and control, the Rootstock Grid to deliver a modern data experience, and Operational Enhancements for smarter planning, work orders, and routing. Rootstock continues to modernize its product and move in the direction of “easy-to-use” ERP, supported by the release of Rootstock Grid. Customers continue to receive newer, better ways to interact with their ERP.

In AI-related news, NetSuite and Aptean made enhancements to further add to the growing AI trend.

First, NetSuite announced the next evolution of NetSuite Text Enhance with the release of Text Enhance Translate, an expansion designed to break down language barriers for global teams. Unlike basic translation tools, Text Enhance Translate can understand your business context, your data, and your workflow, helping your teams collaborate more effectively across borders and languages. Text Enhance Translate is powered by generative AI models that can understand the context of the data in a customer NetSuite account.

Then, Aptean announce the launch of GenAI Query, a mobile-enabled conversational intelligence feature within AppCentral, its AI-powered platform. Purpose-built to deliver real-time data insights from complex business data, GenAI Query eliminates the need for dashboards, technical expertise, or delays. GenAI Query, the intelligence engine of AppCentral and cornerstone of the Aptean Intelligence Suite, transforms enterprise decision-making by unlocking insights with conversational intelligence, revealing hidden risks with AI, accelerating action, bringing data together, and eliminating reporting delays associated with data extraction and interpretation.

AI continues to transform the way we do business, empowering companies to accelerate operations and realize value more quickly.

SAP and IFS continued to build on the news pouring in for the week, announcing their recent financial results.

First, SAP announced its financial results for the second quarter and half-year 2025. Total Revenue was up 9% year-over-year to 9.027 billion euros, with Cloud Revenue up 24% year-over-year to 5.13 billion euros.

Then, IFS announced record-setting H1 2025 results, driving double-digit growth across all key performance metrics. Annual Recurring Revenue was up 30% year-over-year, with Cloud Revenue up 37% and Recurring Revenue up 24%, now accounting for 82% of total revenue.

These results support the continued momentum of the ERP market, fueled by an increased desire to modernize business operations while cutting costs. As AI evolves, more and more companies are turning to digital transformation efforts to realize greater value and accelerate growth.

Finally, Sage rounded out the busy news week by announcing the acquisition of Fyle, an AI-powered expense management platform which transforms how SMBs track and manage expenses. This acquisition strengthens Sage’s ecosystem, empowering SMBs with AI-powered tools that simplify and automate financial workflows, freeing up time for business owners and financial leaders to focus on high performance and growth. With Fyle, accounting and finance teams can get real-time notifications on their transaction data, and given it is card-agnostic, businesses can retain their existing credit programs while automating their expenses. Fyle also provides an intuitive user experience for end-users, allowing them to submit and reconcile expenses with a simple text. Fyle will offer Sage customers a more robust way of approaching expenses, further supporting customers on their path to growth.
