As one of the largest emergency services departments in the state, we were in serious need of a new ERP. We knew we couldn’t make it another 10 years with our existing system, so we started looking for a software advisory firm to help us with the upgrade process. When we started our Needs Analysis, we were ultimately looking for a one-stop shop for as many ERP functions as possible, including the quartermaster shop purchasing, procurement processes, and accounting. Nothing was tied together in our legacy system, so the team was performing a lot of manual workarounds. Ideally, we also wanted to tap into scheduling and human resources within the same program. We have a lot of capital growth happening in the next 10 – 15 years, and we need a system with capital budgeting capabilities, including forecasting and projection models. We needed support with selecting a system that was easy to use and staff training to ensure frontline user adoption.

The firm’s partners were too averse to the risk of losing tax and audit business from a risky implementation. Thus, ERP Advisors Group was born with the purpose to provide Client-Side Implementation Services.
