We are upgrading our ERP in hopes of finding a system that offers data integrity and process optimization. Our legacy system was custom-made, and many processes weren’t initially built in, resulting in inaccurate data, issues with data syncing, and a lack of best practices. We want our new software to go beyond technical functionality to guide our team’s processes.
ERP Advisors Group provided an extensive list of options for implementation partners and software vendors. We had done some research ourselves before engaging with EAG, so it was nice to be reassured we were moving in the right direction. Their preliminary selection process gave us a better understanding of the trade-offs between different vendors’ design philosophies.
The EAG team was helpful and knowledgeable, and our lead consultant, Quentin, provided in-depth expertise throughout the project. They were able to guide us towards the best options for our needs because of their bird’s-eye view across multiple accounts, customers, and vendors.
They also assisted in the contract negotiation process, and it would have been very different without them. Carly stepped in towards the end of the project and helped us get a good deal by applying her previous experiences. She focused on the right areas of negotiation and understood which levers to pull. Ultimately, we locked in a competitive rate and paid significantly less than we initially thought.
I’m generally quite happy with the process, and things went relatively smoothly. This was our first time selecting a new ERP, and we didn’t have the time to become experts on our own. EAG was able to anticipate certain issues we wouldn’t have known about. I would recommend them to my colleagues because without their help, this would have been a very different story.

ERP Advisors Group was founded by Shawn Windle in 2010. He helped develop the technology practice at the largest accounting firm in Denver from 2004 - 2010 by offering Needs Analysis and Selection projects. But Shawn saw that clients were struggling during their implementations, even though they selected the right software. The firm’s partners were too averse to the risk of losing tax and audit business from a risky implementation. Thus, ERP Advisors Group was born with the purpose to provide Client-Side Implementation Services.
We take responsibility for the decisions we help our clients make during the Selection phase by staying on for their implementation, ensuring they go live with their new software.
