It's been a fantastic experience working with ERP Advisors Group. We've had support from a number of different people within the company, whether it was as early as the RFP and the needs assessment to now through the data management. They helped with more of the strategic vendor management and overall project management of this pretty large project for us.

How did you find EAG and what were you trying to accomplish?

We found EAG through our private equity partner, which has many businesses implementing ERPs or other technology packages. They have previously used ERP Advisors Group a number of times and noticed that when they use ERP Advisors Group, the result tends to be much stronger than in situations where they haven't.

Our main objective to accomplish was that we were looking at bringing in a whole new tech stack for our business, which included a CRM, a field service tool, and a new ERP, and wanted to implement all three of those simultaneously. We knew that we were out of our depths and needed some support, both in terms of finding new partners to help us do that as well as the overall project management of trying to, as I say, land three, 747s on three different runways at the exact same time.

Did you make any discoveries about solutions or meet new partners that you wouldn't have been able to do or find on your own?

We found all of our partners through ERP Advisors Group. We actually started down the path of choosing an ERP late in 2021 and had begun working with a partner. We soon noticed we were not managing that project the way we needed to and that we needed to learn how to work with the partner better. That's when we came to ERP Advisors Group. They helped us do an evaluation and run an RFP process to identify the right partners for us and our broad tech stack implementation project.

We were introduced to all of our partners through ERP Advisors Group for both our chosen ERP and field service tool. For our CRM tool, we had ERP Advisors Group run an RFP process which was very helpful in identifying what our needs were. We then used that information to a shortlist with ERP Advisors Group and then they could process through demos, pricing, and contract negotiation.

What was it like working with ERP Advisors Group?

We've worked with several people throughout the organization, all of whom have created a really, really positive experience.

Would you be willing to recommend ERP Advisors Group to colleagues?

Absolutely, I have already recommended ERP Advisors Group to colleagues and even a family member who's going through the process of implementing an ERP. So, I'm a big fan and supporter of ERP Advisors Group's work.

I think the process has been really good, I mean truly, it has. Nan and the team have been great on the actual execution side, so overall it's been an extremely positive experience.

About ERP Advisors Group

ERP Advisors Group only provides software advisory services. Our consultants only work on enterprise software selections and implementations. Therefore, they are experts in conducting software selections and know the pitfalls to avoid as they guide our clients to a successful go-live. You will find our consultants care deeply about your project and are vested as much as you are in making it a success. Ultimately, we will do just about anything to make sure you are a success!

ERP Advisors Group was founded by Shawn Windle in 2010. He helped develop the technology practice at the largest accounting firm in Denver from 2004 - 2010 by offering Needs Analysis and Selection projects. But Shawn saw that clients were struggling during their implementations, even though they selected the right software. The firm’s partners were too averse to the risk of losing tax and audit business from a risky implementation. Thus, ERP Advisors Group was born with the purpose to provide Client-Side Implementation Services.

We take responsibility for the decisions we help our clients make during the Selection phase by staying on for their implementation, ensuring they go live with their new software.
