“I’m very happy to refer people to ERP Advisors Group. I really appreciate their integrity, and the fact that they are truly dedicated to making sure that your implementation is successful. ERP implementations are very stressful and they're very disruptive. It's really nice to have someone like EAG championing your cause and making sure that your project is a success.”

I know ERP Advisors Group because I went to a presentation given by Shawn Windle (Founder and Managing Principal). He obviously had a great deal of experience and I could tell that he knew a lot about ERP systems and how to replace them.

ERP Advisors Group brings a vast amount of experience in this field. I think there are very few organizations that have the internal skill set and experience to perform one ERP implementation, let alone the many dozens or hundreds of implementations that EAG have done. They've worked with many companies in many different industries and I would say that they have probably seen it all.

Having ERP Advisors Group on your project is really important because they do bring all of that experience to your particular implementation. They have a very well-defined process for determining what your needs are and identifying your pain points so that you're able to select the final product that fits your needs the best.

ERP Advisors Group will begin the process by doing a Needs Analysis. They will speak with your executive leadership team to understand the strategy of the organization and what current issues people are facing. EAG consultants will also speak with all the departments within your organization and all levels within each department to understand what the pain points are with the current system. By collating all of that information together, they can determine whether or not you can optimize your current system, or if you need to seek out a new ERP system.

Once they complete the Needs Analysis, ERP Advisors Group will take you through a selection process. Using their knowledge of applications, they narrow them down to a shortlist. Then they work with you to build a list of requirements that you need and take that to their software vendors. They will then ask those vendors to demonstrate the product to you based upon your very specific requirements so you can see how that software application addresses your particular needs. You don't have to listen to the software company present a very slick sales presentation that shows all the bells and whistles of the application that might not be applicable to your organization.

Then ERP Advisors Group walk you through the demonstrations and talk to you about what you liked and what you didn't like about the various applications. Then they help you narrow down your final choice and work with you on discussing the contract and the pricing for that application. Based on their experience they know what a good price and a good contract would be for you, and that's really important.

Once the implementation begins, ERP Advisors Group will act as the bridge between your organization’s needs and what the software company is trying to accomplish. If there are issues during the project and you're not getting the right kind of responses from your software implementation partner, EAG are able to escalate those situations to senior people within the software company. EAG will make sure that the right level of resources is applied to your project.

I'm very happy to refer people to ERP Advisors Group. I really appreciate Shawn’s integrity and the integrity of his team, and the fact that they are truly dedicated to making sure that your implementation is successful. ERP implementations are very stressful and they're very disruptive. It's really nice to have someone like EAG championing your cause and making sure that your project is a success.

Selection

It was helpful to have somebody experienced in the selection process to understand our needs, and what it is we were looking for, and then going through it at a high level. ERP Advisors Group’s knowledge of what works, and their tried and tested processes made a big difference. Carly was awesome when it came to speaking with the vendors during the selection process. She knew what questions to ask, how to get a competitive offer, and decipher what is reasonable not just from a cost-per-hour cost, but in total. In terms of our relationship, it’s always good to have somebody in between the vendor and us who can not only be tough but also maintain the relationships that are built during the project.

We had hoped to solve everything with our new solution. Our existing software didn’t have an inventory module that worked for our needs. It had one in place, but there wasn’t a serial number or lot number tracking – which was critical for us. There weren’t any quality controls that helped with our needs, and the software was very fixed regarding its looks and how it came across. I’d rather be able to change the solution, and we’re hoping to get that capability out of our new system.

ERP Advisors Group was great to work with. We spent a lot of time with Amelia, Carly, and Zach, and they were all very approachable, did what they said they would do, listened well, and were very competent folks to work with. I would absolutely recommend ERP Advisors Group to colleagues.
