Hi and welcome to episode 2 of the ERP Minute, I'm your host Ashley Glasgow.

The NBA recently announced that it will migrate its cloud-based SAP S/4HANA environment to Microsoft Azure, with a focus on modernizing business processes and improving fan experiences. As we reported last week that SAP had partnered with Google Cloud, this move to Microsoft Azure indicates a diversified strategy from SAP to support their public cloud offering on multiple platforms. And we feel this is a positive sign for SAP customers.

In acquisition news, certain software providers are making a play to refresh their product portfolios. First, in mid-July, IFS acquired Customerville, a survey and feedback platform designed to align with the customer journey. Customerville will be available to all IFS Cloud customers going forward, which in the words of IFS CEO Darren [Roose] will empower customers “to not only deliver products or services based on customer insights, but to do so at the early design stage.”

And Deltek announced its acquisition of ArchiSnapper last Thursday, in an effort to enhance its offerings for architects and engineers through improved field report automation and collaboration. Not merely a construction-focused field app, ArchiSnapper positions Deltek favorably with executive-level functionality for architects.

Thanks for tuning into The ERP Minute this week! We’ll see you next Wednesday.
