Hi and welcome to episode 194 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

To begin the week, Celonis announced the launch of the Genpact Transportation Costs and Performance app. Developed by Genpact and powered by the Celonis Process Intelligence platform, the app is designed to help supply chain leaders optimize transportation networks, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and manage carrier performance more effectively. Essentially, it forms a digital twin of supply chain operations from shipment planning and tendering to final delivery and returns, and is expected to enable operators to enhance on-time delivery, reduce transportation costs, boost carrier performance, optimize load management, and enhance route planning. Celonis continues to find ways to accelerate time to value as well as improve operational inefficiencies across enterprises. Genpact Transformation Costs and Performance app will build on their mission, uncovering deeper value opportunities across the supply chain.

In other news, the new cloud edition of SAP Customer Checkout provides customers a seamless, efficient, and scalable point-of-sale (POS) solution for the future. Designed for customers in retail, merchandising, catering, and sports and entertainment, SAP Customer Checkout, cloud edition offers integration with SAP S/4HANA and other systems. From payments, article handling, and coupons to returns, loyalty points, and gift cards, the solution addresses all comprehensive POS needs. The two new components are SAP Customer Checkout manager, cloud edition for POS operations and management as well as system integration, and SAP Customer Checkout point-of-sale, cloud edition running in-store at your POS location to streamline all sales and customer transactions. SAP is deploying SAP Customer Checkout in the cloud to enable clients with the technology they already love in a new way and opening the door for new possibilities in the cloud.

Then, Unit4 announced the availability of Unit4 ERPx in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. Unit4 customers can now take advantage of the productive and trusted Azure cloud platform, with streamlined deployment and management. This is a major step for Unit4 ERPx as the product is dispersed to an entirely new market of consumers, along with a host of other preconfigured solutions and prebuilt integrations.

Finally, SYSPRO announced the acquisition of riteSOFT, a U.S.-based provider of mobile warehouse and time tracking and scheduling software for small to mid-sized manufacturers and distributors. The acquisition strengthens SYSPRO’s smart manufacturing capabilities and advances its strategy to offer deeply integrated, industry-specific solutions that accelerate time-to-value and simplify operations for customers worldwide. With this acquisition, SYSPRO customers will have access to stronger mobile functionality and build on an already strong relationship between the two software providers.
