Hi and welcome to episode 187 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.
To begin the week, Sage announced its financial results for the six months to March 31st, 2025. Underlying total revenue increased by 9% to about 1.24 billion pounds, with underlying operating profit increasing 16% to 288 million pounds. Sage has been laser focused on its Sage Intacct strategy over the last 6 months, and we expect to see continued investment in the product to add more fuel to Sage’s growing fire.
In other news, Workday announced a new wave of Illuminate Agents designed to significantly speed up the hiring processes, improve frontline worker experiences, streamline complex financial processes, and empower employees to find information quickly and easily. New Illuminate Agents announced include Contingent Sourcing Agent, Contract Intelligence Agen, Contract Negotiation Agent, Document Driven Accounting Agent, Frontline Agent, Self-Service Agent, and Supplier Contracts Agent.
Related, UKG launched UGK Bryte payroll AI agents for both the UKG Pro and UKG Ready suites, delivering new tools that help all employees from the frontline to payroll administrators in the front office boost productivity by leveraging agentic AI at key points in the payroll process. UKG Bryte AI Agents complete multi-step processes across HR, payroll, and workforce management that often require little human intervention, executing specific tasks at the request of the user to unlock efficiency.
Vendors continue to invest in cutting edge technology to improve the lives of businesses across the market. AI agents will provide major value to businesses in the coming years because of what vendors are doing now.
Then, OneStream announced a series of powerful enhancements at its Splash 2025 user conference. These include a suite of Productivity Tools new from OneStream, a certified Power BI Connector integration with Microsoft Fabric, and the release of Version 9 of the OneStream Platform. The OneStream Productivity Tools, which are solutions OneStream acquired from a partner, include allocations, an analytics drill-down, and admin assist. Additionally, with the Power BI Connector, users will now be able to natively combine and analyze OneStream data alongside other enterprise sources in Microsoft Fabric – unlocking new insights across the business all within an end-to-end, intelligent solution. This is the next step in OneStream’s product expansion, offering a new way for customers to interact with and utilize the OneStream platform.
Finally, Qlik announced the launch of Qlik Open Lakehouse, a fully managed Apache Iceberg solution built into Qlik Talend Cloud. Designed for enterprises under pressure to scale faster and spend less, Qlik Open Lakehouse delivers real-time ingestion, automated optimization, and multi-engine interoperability.
