ERP Advisors Group's Review of SuiteWorld 2025

Written by Rebekah McCabe | Oct 16, 2025 10:57:02 PM

Anticipation built as Evan Goldberg took the stage to announce this year’s SuiteWorld theme, “No Limits.” SuiteWorld comes as a celebration after a great year of growth for NetSuite, who opened new data centers in India and Brazil, bringing their total to a strong 35 data centers globally. NetSuite’s footprint also grew to over 2 million users across 100,000 subsidiaries, equating to over 6.4 billion transactions in 2024 alone. These announcements foreshadowed a number of functionality and product releases to be made.

ERP Advisors Group’s Review of SuiteWorld 2025

NetSuite, from the beginning, has focused on three pillars of delivery: the Suite, industry functionality, and a strong platform. These pillars were the foundation for each of the releases made, alongside the power of AI across every element of NetSuite.

NetSuite Next

At SuiteWorld 2025, NetSuite unveiled NetSuite Next, its newest AI platform allowing for AI to be integrated into the systems businesses already use. It helps elevate AI into a “natural extension” of normal operations. The goal is for customers to be able to “complete repetitive and complex tasks, all with enterprise reliability” (Evan Goldberg, SuiteWorld 2025).

Every one of the AI announcements made at SuiteWorld 2025 were centered around the Ask Oracle framework, a natural language model enabling businesses to access the data they need and apply it with the right context in order to take action. Customers desire to interact with their systems naturally and seamlessly, and the systems that empower those interactions will be the future of ERP. With NetSuite Next, customers can integrate AI models outside of NetSuite, design their own agents, and create workflows and experiences seamlessly across NetSuite. This is accomplished through NetSuite’s AI Connector Service, enabling organizations to “select the AI models that best fit their business needs, define the data they can access, and govern how the models interact with NetSuite” (netsuite.com/portal/company/newsroom).

Most importantly, NetSuite Next is committed to compliance and security, with new solutions following open standards through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Customers will be able to apply new AI tools within their preexisting data and controls. By adding security steps, tracking, and clear permissions, AI tools are auditable, tracing answers and actions back to the source of truth. This further encourages adoption and enforces AI reliability. Every answer generated by AI will be cited, with deeper answer explanations offered at the click of a button alongside ongoing feedback responses for continued improvement and corrections.

Operational Automation and Simplified Usage

Within NetSuite Next, utilizing the power of Ask Oracle, businesses can personalize their reporting and AI experiences. Users can generate reports and drill down into the causes and trends of each result with NetSuite’s integrations across the suite and with other applications. All data is centralized and effectively utilized thanks to this connectivity.

By applying insights uncovered during the report generation process, businesses can develop and launch agents in NetSuite Next to act autonomously, performing tasks like monitoring operations and customer interactions, and reporting back with suggested actions for human approval. Agents do the difficult work of identifying anomalies and turning the businesses into a system of action instead of reaction. The SuiteWorld Agent frameworks within NetSuite Next will, “enable customers, partners, and developers to build, integrate, and deploy SuiteAgents directly on the SuiteCloud Platform” (netsuite.com/portal/company/newsroom). All of this is developed using the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and allows users to leverage AI toolkits for faster outcomes. All agents can then be monitored within NetSuite Next.

One of the biggest game changers offered by Ask Oracle is the ability to truly leverage unstructured data, such as documents, contracts, and overall institutional knowledge. To be added after NetSuite Next has been made generally available in 2026, customers will be able to upload documents into the system to be scanned and managed by AI agents within the system. AI agents will be able to apply the knowledge from these documents in its daily system interactions and automated tasks. Users will be able to interact with AI agents in plain language, ensuring you don’t have to be a coding guru to do more with NetSuite AI.

Doing More with AI

This most recent NetSuite AI iteration is the most intelligent solution they have delivered to date. This era of AI understands your context and needs, making suggestions based on your role and how you have previously interacted with the system. As time goes on, the system can pull the data that really matters to you, filtering out what doesn’t.

Developers utilizing NetSuite Next will benefit from SuiteCloud Developer Assistant, “an AI-powered coding companion that will accelerate coding, documentation, customization, and testing” (netsuite.com/portal/company/newsroom). System administrators will have further control in the AI Studios, where customers directly manage reasoning, outputs, and interactions.

*General Availability is to be expect in 2026. Customers will be given options to adopt the new solution at their own pace.

AI Across the Suite, Industries, & the NetSuite Platform

NetSuite’s AI announcements came across all three pillars of its strategy: the Suite, industry functionality, and the NetSuite platform.

The Suite

NetSuite’s approach historically has centered on business transactions, allowing them to adapt technology to the way business is conducted. A major part of that focus has been in the financial close process, especially as AI agents become more prevalent. The ultimate goal is a “zero day close” empowered by AI agents that are constantly performing accounting reconciliation, transaction monitoring, and other tasks. With these tasks always being performed in the background, month after month, financial executives have the power to “close the books” every day and avoid the long drawn out, manual process at the end of the month.

When it comes to NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, data insights and actions have never been so powerful. With greater connectivity, customers benefit from a more holistic view of their data, all flowing back into NSP&B.

With major news coming from OpenAI, who announced the ability to buy directly in ChatGPT, NetSuite also aimed to ensure customers using SuiteCommerce have the connectivity NetSuite takes pride in. Using Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP), NetSuite will be able to integrate with ChatGPT, allowing purchasing information to flow directly back into NetSuite.

On the payment side, the intelligent agents will further empower end-users through Intelligent Payment Automation. This tool will help organize cash flow priorities, manage vendor relationships, and ultimately recommend the best business strategies. Through a strategic partnership with BILL, customers will also be empowered with industry leading payment capabilities directly in NetSuite by leveraging BILL AI to move money safely and securely.

Finally, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse received an infographics update powered by Oracle Analytics Cloud. Customers will now be able to pull data from the Suite into visual summaries. NetSuite AI assistants will help users create decks, filter data, and add important details for data storytelling beyond just displaying the numbers without context.

Industry Specialization

While the generic approach to ERP simplifies processes, the deep industry specialization is still just as important to a successful business. As the role of AI expands, it is critical for those solutions to understand who you are and what your business does. It goes beyond retrieval into context.

Software Companies

NetSuite started with announcing the NetSuite Subscription Metrics Dashboard is now available to customers. It will provide the top metrics used by SaaS companies and a much broader range of subscription metrics. Specifically, it provides a deeper look into total contract value, lifetime value, growth, and net revenue retention. Every one of these metrics enables companies to take a deeper look at their operations and optimize capital allocation for the optimal performance. These capabilities are fueled by NetSuite Next. This release will include 40 critical metrics, easy-to-read insights, and even constant currency reporting.

Field Service Companies

Field Service Management also got a major upgrade with NetSuite Intelligent Resource Allocation for Field Service Management. This new tool applies AI advancements to improve resource allocation, identifying the right skills, availability, location, and urgency to properly match field workers with the right jobs. The system not only sends clear, timely notifications, but also offer solutions for anomalies and issues flagged in the system.

Product Companies

Product companies will receive a new competitive edge in NetSuite with NetSuite Intelligent Pricing. NetSuite’s new AI tools will help businesses execute more complex pricing models, with real-time monitoring of competitor pricing and help identifying new customer opportunities. Users can quickly apply new rules, set deal dates, and determine price level in a fraction of the time it previously took to conduct competitor analysis and apply a strategy.

These are just some of the ways NetSuite is empowering specific industries to act with no limits.

The Platform

Extensibility has been at the center of software expansion for many years. Customers want to trust that their systems will be able to meet their needs now and ten years from now through development and product expansion.

The goal of the Suite Cloud Platform from the beginning has been extensibility by developing the system from the ground up to add “Suite” value over time. Suite Cloud is built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and supports multiple leading AI models across the market, including Cohere, Meta, Google, OpenAI, xAI, and more.

A large part of extensibility is empowering developers, which is being accomplished with NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Assistant. The SuiteCloud Developer Assistant is an integrated AI companion built to assist developers in solving minor problems, freeing them to ultimately solve larger business problems. By helping with code completion, explaining strings of code created, clear documentation, and writing unit tests, developers can streamline traditionally manual processes and elevate themselves into more complicated tasks.

The Power of Oracle & NetSuite SuiteAgents

Oracle’s AI Database is one of the most powerful foundations on the market and is behind the advancements being made by NetSuite. Oracle is built to manage a variety of data types, including vector data. As a result, NetSuite customers are empowered with AI that understand the why behind inquiries, not just the what.

Customers can utilize powerful new capabilities in order to develop more robust AI agents in SuiteAgents for workflow automation, data processing, and adaptability in an evolving market. And, by utilizing vector data, customers can upload policies to their Knowledge Management database and teach their agents to act in accordance with company culture and expectations. While these agents are not quite at complete autonomy, this is a major step towards advanced AI decision-making.

NetSuite AI Connector Service

Model Context Protocol is extending the reach of NetSuite’s AI tools by helping NetSuite customers utilize leading AI assistants to interact directly with the NetSuite system. MCP will act as a “structured bridge” between AI models and enterprise applications, like NetSuite, further supporting the narrative of software market consolidation and connectivity. Any vendor who adapts the MCP protocol will be accessible within the network, enabling a more holistic view of data across systems and functions.

NetSuite Customer Success AI Services

Experience is everything to end users. And with technology advancing at a rapid pace, vendors are doing all they can to support internal success and adoption. NetSuite has services geared toward the successful utilization of AI through its customer success program. Customers can access resources to learn more about AI and apply solutions to their operations.

Conclusion

These were just some of the exciting announcements made at SuiteWorld 2025. Customers can expect to see continued innovation as we round out the year and throughout 2026.
